Large Murano Caged Glass Urn Vase

Rare Murano blown-glass urn in light green, cased within a wrought iron frame of foliate decoration with upright scroll handles. The conical glass form was blown directly into its cage, creating tension between the translucent vessel and the dark, ornamental structure.

Raised on a cast metal base, the piece reflects the artistry of 19th-century Venetian glassmaking, with ties to Seguso and sommerso traditions. An exceptional example of scale and craftsmanship.
